Privacy
Pen Spinning World uses the information you provide to run the Pen Spinning World Cup 2026.
What we collect
When you register, we store your email, password hash, display name, handle, and the time you confirm the age statement. We do not collect your date of birth. Optional profile details, team information, join requests, and uploaded images are stored when you submit them.
What is public
Your completed profile, country, bio, social links, team membership, and team information are public. Your email, password hash, age-confirmation timestamp, and private join requests are not shown publicly. Videos and competition results will follow the publication deadlines in the rules.
How information is used
We use account and session data to sign you in, enforce permissions, prevent abuse, and operate the tournament. Essential cookies keep you signed in. We send email only when you request a password reset.
Donations
Stripe processes payments and card details. We store donation amounts, payment identifiers and status, your chosen display name, anonymous preference, and optional sponsor content. Account donations are linked to your user ID; guest donations are grouped using a hash of the email returned by Stripe. Public sponsor cards show tiers rather than exact amounts. Guest edit secrets are kept in browser session storage and only their hashes are stored in our database. Keep your private edit link secure.
Service providers
The site uses Vercel for hosting and image storage and Neon for its database. When password-reset email is enabled, Brevo processes your email address and reset message to deliver the link. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services.
Your choices
You can edit your public information in profile settings. Contact the Pen Spinning World organizers through the community where the tournament was announced to request account deletion or ask about your data. Tournament records may be retained to preserve results and resolve disputes.
